Andrea B. Redd, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Andrea Redd joined Clarksville Veterinary Clinic in May of 2006. Following graduation from West Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, NC, she attended North Carolina State University where she completed undergraduate studies, graduated Cum Laude, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology/Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She attended North Carolina University-College of Veterinary Medicine for post-graduate veterinary studies and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from NCSU-CVM in June of 1997.

Dr. Redd has been in private mixed animal practice since graduation from veterinary school, and has experience in both relief and emergency veterinary medicine. She is a member of both the Virginia and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Associations, as well as the national AVMA.

Her special interests include cardiology, using advanced technology such as echocardiography and electrocardiography, and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Redd also had an article published in Veterinary Economics magazine and a story published in Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul book. She lives in Clarksville, VA with her husband and two sons.
